Who We Are
Rwenzori Organic Coffee
Rwenzori Organic Coffee Limited (ROC) is a Ugandan based agribusiness company that is involved in the growing, processing and marketing of Organic Arabica Coffee. The company’s flagship venture is a 50-acre Organic Arabica Coffee Farm located in Bukara Village, Kabonero Subcounty, Bunyangabu District in the Rwenzori Mountains.
The company was incorporated in December 2018, followed by land acquisition and coffee planting in September 2019. Current ongoing activities include planting of coffee on extra land and construction of structures including staff quarters. Future plans include a coffee processing facility and a farm eco-lodge with cabins to boost Coffee Tourism in the Rwenzori Mountains.
ROC intends to invest in the latest farming technics and technologies in the growing and processing of organic coffee. ROC intends to introduce coffee processing protocols that will take coffee quality in the Rwenzori Region to the speciality grade and subsequently use the improved quality to present Uganda as an origin of high quality and authentic Arabica coffee. Most importantly, ROC will underpin it’s success as proof of concept to collaborate with farmers and communities in the Rwenzori Mountains to promote production of top quality gourmet coffees.

At Rwenzori Organic Coffee Limited, we pride ourselves in the strong relationships we are building within the communities around our farm, the trees and the soil on the farm and with the coffee buyers. We care for and nurture the trees and the soil that produce our single origin coffee varieties using organic and conservationist practices, one by one, just for product quality.

We are an organic coffee farm committed to promoting coffee production in a sustainable and ethical way. We do this primarily by growing the best single origin coffee varieties, which are of a high quality and improve Uganda’s image as a high quality coffee producer.

We aim to transform Ugandan coffee production and trade by creating successful, replicable models for smallholder farmers. Beyond coffee, we support mountain communities with education, healthcare, and income opportunities—taking small but meaningful steps toward lasting impact.

We will go further by building long-term relationships with other cooperatives in the region to support development of farmers to access the gourmet coffee markets and boost their productivity. By doing this, we hope to promote long-term social benefits to their communities.
Establish Speciality Coffee Markets
We build strong buyer relationships through high-quality coffee and community impact. By paying above-market prices, we ensure farmers cover production costs, support their families, and grow their businesses for a better livelihood.
Gold Standard for Coffee Tourism
We are committed to ensuring that coffee drinkers get to know more about the communities that produce the coffee and the coffee purchases make a positive difference to people’s lives. By doing this, we believe the coffee will even taste better and their commitment to us and the communities that supply us will become stronger.
